Trump: “We Are Going To Prove That America Does Not Belong To Those Who Hate It, It Belongs To Those Who Love It”
President Donald Trump addressed the first-ever Republican Midterm Convention on Wednesday night. Trump encouraged voters to pretend he is on the ballot and said he will “close out” the convention in a second speech on Thursday.
PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP: By the way, as long as you have Republicans, it’s not even, it’s, you know, you know, our party is really, we can say conservative or that our party is really based on a thing called common sense. It’s all common sense. But these are people that do not care if your country is invaded by illegal immigrants, if your home is burglarized, if your parks and city streets are turned to filth and squalor and death, if your loved ones are pushed in front of a subway train in New York City or stabbed in the middle of a field in any state you want to pick, they don’t care because they hate our country and they are Democrats and they’re very, very wrong. On election night, we’re going to prove that America does not belong to those who hate it. America belongs to those who love it.
