Hemingway: Trump WH Learned From BLM Riots the Importance of Bringing Law and Order Early to Left’s Coordinated Riots
The Federalist editor-in-chief Mollie Hemingway told FNC’s “Fox News Sunday” panel that President Trump’s response to riots in Los Angeles is proof that he learned from the “Black Lives Matter” protests five years ago:
What we are seeing with the response to the riots in L.A., and the planned riots in other cities-the Trump administration learned from the first Trump administration. You had massive, coordinated riots that caused $ 2 billion in damage. A couple dozen people died in that situation, and it didn’t work out well for the Trump administration. So now they understand. We’ve seen these coordinated protests, and we know they are willing to finance and are well coordinated-but we won’t let it affect the country the way it did five years ago.
