FOX News contributor and radio host Hugh Hewitt told “Special Report” host Bret Baier that momentum is on President Donald Trump’s side and Speaker Mike Johnson should hold a vote to pass the Big, Beautiful Bill. [Speaker 2] Well, a small group did vote against the big beautiful bill in the Senate. We’ll put up their faces here. Rand Paul, Susan Collins, and Tom Tillis. Not enough to bring it down as Vice President Vance cast the tie-breaking vote. Now it moves on to the House. And let’s talk about that with our panel. Fox News contributors Hugh Hewitt, Kim Strassel, and Robert Wolf. All right, Hugh, you look at the week that the president has had. We don’t know the outcome in the House as of yet, but it’s been pretty strong for President Trump. [Speaker 1] I think he’s had probably the best month of any president in this century, Brett, and I mean not just beating Iran and not just getting the Supreme Court going his way, getting the Dow and the NASDAQ records up high, and getting trade deals with China and Canada. I mean this bill. This bill is everything that the president campaigned on. It was a narrow path and a narrow gate through the House. It was a narrower path and a narrower gate through the Senate. Now it’s got to go to the Rules Committee, and there are some people who would wish it was a little bit different. But I’m hoping the speaker and the entire leadership team push it on through to the floor. Let’s have a vote. Let’s momentum is on President Trump’s side. I would like to keep it going, get the one big beautiful bill into law, and then come back and work on a second reconciliation that might make more people happier on the margins. But let’s get the tax relief cemented in.
