Lara Trump: Trump Has Not Been Bogged Down By The Media Like He Was In His First Term, Democrats Are On Their Heels

‘FOX & FRIENDS’ HOST: I’m glad you said that, because we were talking about two different-a tale of two Americas, two different views of where people are right now. And I want to take them one at a time with you, because as somebody who is so close with the president, I was wondering how you would describe this current moment in Donald Trump’s presidency. LARA TRUMP: Well, it’s funny, because I heard you guys, before you went into the break, talking about how Trump 2.0, kind of the second administration, is different than the first. And I think there was so much learned by my father-in-law during his first term in office. And certainly over the past four years, watching how many of our freedoms were truly eroded in this country, watching really the destruction in so many ways of America. And he really sat back, and he looked, and he planned what he would do in this moment. And you know what? I haven’t seen him in so long seen a second of him on defense, or quite frankly, the Republican Party on defense. It’s felt like full offense from President Trump. He is not, you know, bogged down by the media like he was during the first term in office. The Democrats are on their heels. They cannot get a footing anywhere. And he’s full steam ahead for America, because look, Carly, he realizes he’s got a limited amount of time to accomplish so much for this country. I would say in the first six months, it’s been incredible. I don’t know any other president in history who’s been able to do much this quickly. But he is a different president. He’s a little more relaxed, and he’s having fun doing it. And you see him out there on the balcony, dancing with Melania. You go in the White House with him, and he’s excited to show you the paintings on the wall. There really wasn’t that much time for that during the first term. But it’s remarkable to see what he’s accomplished and remarkable to see the way he’s brought together the GOP. I have not seen a Republican Party this united in my entire lifetime.
