Sen. Schmitt: Judiciary Subcommittee Has Sent A Request To The Archivist For A Paper Trail For The Autopen

Sen. Eric Schmitt (R-MO) talks to FOX News host Laura Ingraham on “The Ingraham Angle” about requesting special access from the U.S. archivist to see how the autopen was used in the Biden White House.

LAURA INGRAHAM, HOST: Well, we’ve all seen the videotape, we can rack it up, of Biden, you know, struggling to get off a stage, freezing, it would seem, as other people are moving, you know, falling up the stairs. I mean, people slip, I get that, it’s not the end of the world, but there are just too many instances. And then, of course, the disastrous debate. And then we find out somebody was running the auto pen. And we don’t have, we don’t have any definitive answers on that. SEN. ERIC SCHMITT (R-MO): Right, and I, yeah, I was going to say, the committee, the subcommittee that I’m chairing on the Judiciary Committee, we have now sent a special access request to the archivist to make sure there was a paper trail. There should be authorization for each time that auto pen is utilized. We’re going to find out who was actually doing that, who was actually in charge. And never forget, Laura, I was at that first debate in the spin room. We were all watching this thing unfold in real time. The Democrats actually wanted the American people to believe that not only was Joe Biden competent to finish his term, but that he could have another four years, right? And only, you know, when that debate performance was on full display, did they sort of circle the wagons and install in a coup Kamala Harris. But they were willing to go along with this because of Trump derangement syndrome, because they were so obsessed with holding on to power. The American people deserve more than that. That can’t happen. The American people deserve answers of who is actually part of this cover up in this conspiracy to hide this from the American people.
