Ned Ryun: Behind The Democrats’ Fear-Mongering Is Real Fear That They Will Be Out Of Power For A Long Time

American Majority CEO Ned Ryun on Wednesday told Laura Ingraham that Democrats are trying to keep their base in a state of perpetual fear.

LAURA INGRAHAM: This MSNBC panel you heard me talking about during the break yesterday included this candidate for Colorado Attorney General. She’s the current, sorry, current Secretary of State running for Attorney General, and she’s very, very worried about voter intimidation. Watch. JENA GRISWOLD (D), COLORADO SECRETARY OF STATE: Donald Trump has escalated his attacks on our democracy. He is trying to grab power ahead of 2026. We are in a very dangerous spot for our democracy. We had already planned for these scenarios in 2020. We need the American people to stay in this fight. This is folks who believe in rule of law, in democracy, and our election standing firm against this assault on our nation. 2026 is potentially a juncture in the road, a turning point. … INGRAHAM: Hey, Ned, I’m watching this woman, and I’m in my room howling, laughing. I’m like, anyone else think this is funny? I hope I’m not the only person laughing when I’m watching Ms. Griswold. But I think they’re just out of gas, Ned. They are out of gas, out of ideas. Katie’s right. NED RYUN, AMERICAN MAJORITY: Yeah, all they have to offer right now is fear. And I think they’re trying to keep their base in a state of perpetual fear to manipulate them and somehow try and motivate them for the midterms. But none of it’s based in reality. I mean, Trump’s no king, democratically elected twice. He’s not running a third time. But I think behind it all, Laura, is true fear, because they realize there are existential threats to Democrats’ political power moving forward. And by that, I mean, I think we’re going to win the redistricting wars this year. I think people should be aware of the Supreme Court case, Louisiana versus Kalei, in which if they address the Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act, it could result in 19 more Republican seats before the midterms. And so I think you’re seeing behind some of this fear-mongering is real fear that they might be out of political power for a very long time to someone that they just cannot get their heads around with, Donald Trump.
