A reporter asked President Trump during an announcement related to the Navy on Monday afternoon what the U.S. is going to do with 1.9 million barrels of oil on December 10 from a Venezuelan oil tanker alleged to be violating sanctions. “What are we gonna do with the oil that we have? Are we gonna sell it or put it in the strategic reserve?” a reporter asked the president. “We’re keeping it. Maybe we’ll sell it. Maybe we’ll keep it. Maybe we’ll use it in the strategic reserves. We’re keeping it,” Trump said. “We’re keeping the ships also.”
