Chris Cuomo: Karoline Leavitt Is A Poorly Trained Pit Bull, Her Words Don’t Hurt Me Because I Don’t Respect Her Opinion
Today on his SiriusXM show Cuomo Mornings, host Chris Cuomo addressed Karoline Leavitt’s post on X saying his comments on the men’s U.S. hockey team are “dumb.” SiriusXM’s Cuomo Mornings, airs weekdays from 7-9am on POTUS channel 124.
CHRIS CUOMO, HOST: Here is an example that will likely cause a little bit of upset, but that’s the way it is. This is from the Press Secretary, okay? Karoline Leavitt, who I think is actually pretty good at the job, she’s very quick. She is very tough. She is very insistent. Okay, so here is her tweet. “This is such a dumb take. This team just brought home gold medals for the first time in 46 years, and they were honored by the duly elected president of the United States in front of the entire US Congress. Only people with a loser mentality would think this way.” Okay. What is she talking about? She’s talking about me, and she has gotten over a million impressions on this tweet. Now, what was I saying about the hockey team? Obviously, she has no fricking idea because what she does is shoot first, aim never. Why? Because this is what she is told to do. The negativity is a proxy for insight. Her problem, which I’m sure she’s not concerned about, is that she is absolutely wrong and being played as a fool. How do I know? Because I’m the one who wrote the tweet that she’s commenting on. What did I say? Andrew Yang said, the US Olympic hockey team is objectively awesome, with which I agree. I wrote, “I wish they weren’t being politicized as they were last night.” Why did I write that? Did it have anything to do with the State of the Union? Nope. So then what did it have to do with? It had to do with the fact that people are blaming the hockey kids for Kash Patel being there, for going to the State of the Union, for going to the White House. Like they should have said no. Why? Why is it on an Olympic team to deny a trip to see the president and to be acknowledged by the country? It’s not fair to them. Well, but they made the choice to drink with Kash Patel. How many of them even knew who Kash Patel is? What else would you expect? This is such false criticism. So that’s my point. Alright, now, so she is assuming that what I meant was that it was wrong to invite them to the State of the Union, which I don’t think. But she doesn’t care about what’s right or true, nor does this administration. They are an ugly and obvious example of something that’s been true for a long time, which is how he got here, which is what? All that matters is advantage. Now, is Leavitt gonna say, “Oh, I got it wrong.” Of course not. Trumpers never say they got something wrong. Never. Why? They see it as weakness. As weakness. Now, what I’m supposed to do in the rule book of how you play this game, is to start chasing Levitt to apologize. You have it wrong. You have it wrong. Your context was off. I wasn’t talking about that. You’re wrong. Why won’t you apologize? Why will you say that? How is it a dumb take to say that? But I’m not gonna do that. Why? I don’t give a sh*t what she says about me. Her opinion about me is meaningless to me. Why? Two reasons. One, she knows nothing. Two, I do not respect her opinion. You see, that is my secret sauce, by the way, that I have that many people do not. And I understand why it takes time to develop it. It is absolutely influential when someone comes at you on social media. I understand why you feel that way, but I signed up for this and I have learned something over time that many haven’t, which is you gotta consider the source of who is saying what. And if it’s a guy making hollow muscular threats towards me, I don’t care. Why? Because one of us is someone who has, you know, for better or worse, I could argue it either way, trained in combatives and self-defense and how to hurt and how to defend and how to submit and how to subdue and how to, all these other things for 30 years. And the other one is whoever’s talking sh*t to me. You understand what I’m saying? I’m not saying I’m a tough guy. I’m a 55-year-old aging athlete. What I’m trying to say is that that’s just not my mindset. That’s not my disposition. I have been in more violent situations than most people, most groups of people. Why? By choice? So I don’t take tough words from people who probably can’t do anything to hurt me seriously, because I don’t respect their opinion. Same thing with this press puppet, but what is it? It’s proof of what motivates our state of play. And you have to see that game because once you see the game and realize, well, so she’s not even right, so she wasn’t even going after the right thing the right way. Yeah, of course not. It’s not her job. Her job is just to attack. It’s like having a poorly trained pit bull.
This is such a dumb take. This team just brought home Gold Medals for the first time in 46 years, and they were honored by the duly-elected President of the United States in front of the entire U.S. Congress. Only people with a loser-mentality would think this way. https://t.co/XGjarVBy3E
