Mark Levin ripped Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, and Steve Bannon as a “conga line of freaks, frauds, and phonies,” accusing them of hijacking conservatism and MAGA to build audiences and make money. From Levin’s new podcast, “Liberty’s Voice”:

MARK LEVIN: Who are these people, these podcasters? What do you know about them? What do you know about them? What do you know about Tucker Carlson and Megyn Kelly and Steve Bannon? The two of them have mostly been in media. Kelly and Carlson. They haven’t contributed anything to anybody, any community, any state, and so forth and so on. Bannon was a Hollywood liberal, a producer and a director who made a fortune off the Seinfeld reruns. He shows up out of nowhere. He’s going to change the conservative movement. He didn’t start Breitbart. I knew Breitbart. He was a friend of mine. You know who his big hero was? Rush Limbaugh. And when he got in trouble and had battles with the Department of Agriculture, he called me to help him and I helped him a lot. And he had this horrible sudden death. He had a heart attack and died on the spot. And suddenly Bannon shows up and he’s in charge of Breitbart. He didn’t earn his spurs. He didn’t demonstrate anything of the sort. Now, why is this important? Because where are young people going to go today to learn what we believe in? Where are they going to go today? Most of them are listening to podcasts. Most of them are on the internet. Most of them are on the iPhone. And I’m not putting them down. We’re doing this. We’re the generation that’s made it this way. But they’re getting information from foul mouths, from people who are not advancing our values and our belief systems and our principles and our politics. They don’t ever talk about substantive things that matter to us. It’s always conspiracy theories and who did what to whom and interviewing each other and the Jews dragged us into this war and Churchill was bad and Hitler was good and let’s rewrite history and on and on and on. They are learning horrendous libels. They are learning dark conspiracies. From people who are middle-aged or somewhat younger who should know better. These are people who when I was growing up wouldn’t see the light of day as any kind of a public figure, anybody’s interested in them. So we’ve created an entire industry where foreign followers can make domestic podcasters very, very rich or investors who are very, very wealthy. This kind of dark money flows in to create these podcasters because it’s not cheap to do. It may seem cheap to do but you need cameras, you need folks to help you out, you need lights, you need audio, you need this, you need that and it’s hard for one person to do it and you’ll notice most of them have guests. Why? Because they can’t carry the show. They have nothing to say. They haven’t learned anything. They haven’t done anything important so they bring in guests. It’s a conga line of freaks, frauds and phonies. They just bring them in. The more crazy the better or their antics, again the cursing, they think you want to hear that or they’ll smoke pot on there and say, look at me, I can smoke pot and they’ll say things that resonate with now we have aggregator sites. Started with Drudge who did a great job but obviously that’s been taken over by the hard left, really hard left. You have Mediate which is all about clickbait and you have these other sites and they do these headlines. Look at this, headlines, headlines, headlines. And so these podcasters, they know that and so they feed off each other and this is the poison and the cancer that’s being pushed out into our society. Now if you have already the principles, the belief system, your faith, you understand the difference between that and reality and right and wrong and good versus evil but if you’re young, you may not. And so it’s bad enough when younger people are going to public school and they’re learning all this trash about DEI and transitioning and all the rest of it, all that agenda that’s being pushed, it’s bad enough when they’re watching, if they do, the Oscars and the Golden Globe Awards and certain other media that’s pushing this radical left agenda and then they go online with their iPhone or on their laptop or on their iPad or whatever it is and they’re listening to this stuff, this garbage out there and I don’t think it’s any coincidence that so many of these younger people who commit these heinous crimes are obsessed with the internet. They’re not reading, they’re obsessed with the internet and they go into these dark meetings or whatever they call them and one influences the next. It’s the same with podcasting and by the way, there are exceptions… But there is a right wing, a neo-fascist right wing, a woke right, R-E-I-C-H. What do I keep referring to that? Wokeism is to play on the emotions and the passions of people to try and use our differences to divide us rather than come together as a united country around our principles and belief systems. It’s that simple. And this woke notion is stolen from the left, used by these neo-fascists as a way to try and draw more and more people, especially young men, into their orbit. And they will say and do anything to do it because they make money that way. Because this entire enterprise that I’m involved in right now, if you’re money oriented and only money oriented, you know how to make money. Drop the F-bomb, attack the Jews, attack evangelical Christians, attack Israel, undermine the president, and everybody’s a victim. The system sucks. This is it. And these are people that don’t know anything. Most of them are multimillionaires who’ve soaked the system for everything they can and have contributed nothing to the country. Whether it’s one of the biggest podcasters in the world, whether it is another big podcaster in the world, whatever it is, whatever it is, I’ve taken a different path, whether it’s, as I’ve told you very briefly about my background and also Landmark Legal Foundation for maybe 30 years, where we brought litigation against government agencies to promote school choice and free speech. I spent a lot of time in litigation, in major cases before the Supreme Court. Why? Because that’s one of the avenues by which we can try to protect our society. You, the American people. I’ve always looked at it. And same with this. This is called entertainment. Well, I want to be entertaining. Right? You don’t want to watch somebody who’s boring. But there’s ways to be entertaining and intriguing and informative and intelligent, or at least relatively intelligent, in ways to be a clown or worse. People are trying to hijack our nomenclature, conservatism, Make America Great Again, MAGA. People are trying to distort it and use it to their advantage and then apply it to what they’re doing. Which is junk. And so they claim to be real MAGA. They claim to be the real conservatives when they have nothing to do with it. They didn’t create it. They haven’t helped create a substantive base for it. They are figures. They are concoctions. They are fictions when it comes to this. They’re unserious. And so they will spend day in and day out on the Epstein files. They think that draws your attention. The last poll I saw is one percent of you care about the Epstein files. I don’t know how much more they’re going to go on, what else there is to find. And so you’ll find certain members of Congress who don’t get a damn thing done for this country. Not a damn thing. Hearing after hearing on the Epstein files. Now they’re going to subpoena the Attorney General. Ladies and gentlemen, 50 years from now, none of that matters if we don’t have a country. None of that matters if we’re overrun by Marxists and Islamists. The Epstein files, that’s a shiny object. That’s gone to court. The guy died in prison. There are things that people can pursue civilly, I suppose. He was the worst of the worst low-lives. And by the way, because I say this, you know what people say about it? Levin is covering up for Epstein. I don’t know who this man is, utterly sick. But again, that’s fine. You can touch on that, talk about it, but constantly, no. And so what I want to do with this program, and I’m going to do with this program, is continue to take us down the path of knowledge about our country, our history. Some of these truly great people who have done, we don’t even know, but for whom we wouldn’t even have a country and the freedom that we have today. So these people are trying to play you. Build their audiences. They’re real MAGA. They’re the real conservatives. Or they don’t even like conservatives anymore, actually. They dismiss, oh, you’re a traditional conservative. What’s wrong with you? I mean, conservatism is really what undergirds MAGA, undergirds the Reagan Revolution, undergirds the Tea Party, undergirds the Convention of States. All these things I’ve mentioned are things I personally have been involved in, and none of these people have been involved in. And they have no interest in being involved in it. They don’t make any money from being involved in it. The way they speak is not embraced by the people who are involved in these different movements and so forth. You know who’s embraced all these movements? Donald Trump. Donald Trump really came into politics through the Tea Party. And it’s my view that 80, 90% of MAGA is the Tea Party. He came through the Tea Party. He and I have talked about this, the Tea Party. So let me get down to this. Over the weekend, maybe even before, there are these constant scuffles over the future of the country. And again, I don’t look for these fights, but there’s like a cabal of these people, maybe 12 or 20 of them or something like that. They almost operate with a gang mentality. You know, they’re showing their colors and their tattoos and that sort of thing, but in their own sort of upper-middle-class, wealthy way, none of these people have ever had to struggle for anything. A couple of them were brought up with, you know, with a platinum foot in their mouth, which is fine. I don’t really care. As long as you’re not destroying the country, that’s fine by me. Everybody teaches on. And I don’t put down success. I put down people who put down success, who are successful, but they don’t think you should be successful. But they live in these weird places, and some of them, they have very surly backgrounds. We don’t know a whole lot about them, but we know enough about them. They don’t discuss their backgrounds very much because there’s not a lot to discuss or not much that they want to reveal. And they haven’t accomplished anything other than draw a big audience by being provocative and worse. They’re not substantive. And I know that’s what a lot of young people want. Maybe a lot of you want. It’s damaging the country. If we lose the midterm elections, it’ll be for a number of reasons, but certainly because of them. Carlson has already said MAGA’s dead. Carlson wants nothing to do with the Republican Party. Well, what’s he doing then? Same with the others. Bannon is a bomb thrower, not for good reasons, for bad reasons, for his own self-aggrandizement. Megyn Kelly is just a disaster, a walking disaster. And she’s gone from loving me and stalking me to her claim that I’m stalking her. And now she wants to talk about body parts. All right, look. So what went on in the past few days was I wasn’t going to just surrender to this crowd of bullies, this gang. I’m defending the president. I’m defending our troops. I’m defending this war effort.
