Trump: We Will Be Taking Over Cuba “Almost Immediately” After Iran
President Donald Trump on Friday said the United States would take over Cuba “almost immediately” following the conflict in Iran. In a speech at the Forum Club of the Palm Beaches, Trump said he would deploy the USS Abraham Lincoln to Cuba on the way back from Iran.
PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP: Thank you, Dan. Good job. An architect who’s really talented. He’s done a lot of work for me. He’s got a flair, a beautiful Hispanic flair, in particular. And he comes from, originally, a place called Cuba, which we will be taking over almost immediately. No, Cuba’s got problems. We’ll finish one first. I like to finish a job. On the way back from what we’ll do – on the way back from Iran, we’ll have one of our big – maybe the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier, the biggest in the world. We’ll have that come in, stop about 100 yards offshore. And they’ll say, Thank you very much. We give up. But we – but this man really is great. Rick Gonzalez. He’s a great architect. Where is Rick? He’s doing a little couple of projects for us now.
