Astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson speaks with CNN’s Dana Bash about “never-before-seen files” on UFOs released by the FBI and the Pentagon last week. “Given the testimonies we have heard delivered in front of Congress from whistle-blowers and insiders and military officials, ex-military, ex- intelligence officers, it’s no longer just the farmer commenting on what hovered over their crops or the revelers coming out of the bar at 2:00 a.m,” he said. “So these are people of high rank, and all sincere.” “So not only have they sort of said that they have got alien body parts and reverse-engineered technologies, that’s sort of consistent with the files that were released that — all I’m going to ask is, where’s the alien?” “Is it too much to ask that, if you have got them in the back shed, just bring out the alien?” “If it’s all true, they ought to be able to bring out the alien,” he said. “I’m sitting on the couch waiting patiently for that.” “Just bring out the alien and get it over with.” “One thing that’s odd, what would surprise me most is if they bring out the alien and it’s humanoid,” he added. “Most alien renderings we have seen, it’s got a head, two eyes, nose, mouth, shoulders, arms, fingers, maybe four fingers, instead of five, right, legs, and they’re walking.
