Fetterman: “Even Jewish Organizations Like J Street Are Doing Events With Hasan Piker” — “Forces Me To Kind Of Re-evaluate, Should I Remain A Democrat?”

Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman again repeated his line that if the Democratic Party falters in its unconditional support of Israel, he may leave and become an Independent or a Republican before his term ends in 2028. On FNC’s “Sunday Morning Futures,” Fetterman specifically called out the progressive Jewish organization J Street for associating with socialist livestreamer Hasan Piker, telling Maria Bartiromo: “If the Democratic Party puts anti-Israel kinds of terms in that platform, that would force me to kind of re-evaluate should I remain as a Democrat?”

BARTIROMO: But, Senator, you have said that the Democrat Party has officially become the anti-Israel party. And you said that you have got no plans to leave, but if they were to go even further into that, that would be your breaking point. What do you mean? FETTERMAN: Yes, well, candidates in a party runs on the party’s platform. If the Democratic Party puts anti-Israel kinds of terms in that platform, that would force me to kind of reevaluate should I remain as a Democrat? Now, if you look and you reference that vote, now 103 Democrats are voting supporting Israel. And if you look at the kind of people that are winning the primaries and Democrat across the country, whether in my state or whether in New York or where — like in Colorado, and potentially what might happen in Michigan too, if that becomes official — even Jewish kinds of organizations like J Street are doing events with people like Hasan Piker, Hasan Piker. I mean, how can you embrace people like that, that Hamas is 1000 percent better than Israel? You know, if we became the kind of party that would embrace someone like Hasan Piker, maybe my party doesn’t want, like, a reasonable, commonsense kind of Democrat, that reminds people that standing with Israel, that at least used to be part of our core values, and one of the reasons why I have been proud to be a Democrat.
