Domenech: There Is Not Going To Be Any Satisfaction For People Frustrated By Fauci, “The Circus Is The Punishment”
An ‘All-Star’ panel debates whether useful results can come from the questioning of Dr. Anthony Fauci on ‘Special Report:’
BEN DOMENECH, FOX NEWS CONTRIBUTOR: I think it was frustrating, but I also think that the damage that was done and Dr. Fauci seems agitated by this experience, I would say. He doesn’t like the experience of being in the public eye in this way. I think that he has already had the damage done by the release of his diary and by everything that people know today: that they know that he was somebody who, quite frankly, lied about people who were correct about the origin of this virus. That he was someone who, you know, constantly misrepresented things that he was saying behind the scenes, in front of the public eye in ways that led to ramifications of public policy that have set a generation of school children back and that, frankly, resulted in, I think, some of the worst abridgement of American freedoms in my lifetime. At the same time, this is not going to result in any kind of satisfaction, I think, for the people who are very frustrated, including these Republican Senators who would like to see him have some kind of consequence that has real legal teeth to it. This is just something where the circus is the punishment.
