Bevan: Trump Bill On A Knife’s Edge, Political Stakes Are So High That Republicans Will Get This Done

TOM BEVAN: Well, I’ve always maintained that the political incentives were such they line for Republicans to get this done and that’s certainly — but you’ve seen how tough it’s been one vote in the House and now barely hanging on in the Senate. And with with the way this is going, you’ve got now House Freedom Caucus members are sniping at the Republican bill. You’ve got Elon Musk sniping from the other side. It’s in a much more precarious position than it was. It seems to be getting more precarious by the moment. And so I still think at the end of the day because the political stakes for the administration are so high, that Republicans will get this done. But again, it’s looking, it’s on a knife’s edge for sure.
