Carville: I Don’t Want To Argue That Russia Intervened On Trump’s Behalf in 2016 Because I Know They Did
TV commentators Bill O’Reilly and James Carville discuss Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard releasing a previously classified House report, her second such disclosure after accusing the intelligence community of a treasonous conspiracy in its review of foreign influence in the 2016 election:
BILL O’REILLY: Every time Trump is out there in a press conference, it’s all he’s getting is Epstein. But there is one very important story here that everybody is overlooking. And that is, did the Wall Street Journal publish a phony card allegedly sent by Donald Trump? There is a lawsuit, a federal lawsuit, followed by the president. CHRIS CUOMO: OK. That’s a huge story. CUOMO: It is. But Jimmy, did you ever think you’d see a day that Trump would sue Rupert Murdoch and FOX News or News Corp? JAMES CARVILLE: It’s not gone. He did that just like he sued Bob Woodward. That suit will never get to discovery. For God’s sakes, man, I’m 80 years old. I don’t want to argue that the earth is round. I know it’s round. I don’t want to argue that gravity is real. I know it’s real. I don’t want to argue that Russia interfered in the 2016 election on Trump’s behalf, because I know they did. OK, we can argue about some factual dispute. But I know gravity. I know the earth is round. And I know Russia tried to interfere. CUOMO: We’ve moved on.
