At the third-annual Samizdat Prize gala on Feb. 11, 2026, RealClear honored free-speech heroes Alan Dershowitz, Graham Linehan, and Charlie Kirk. Turning Point USA spokesman Andrew Kolvit accepted a Samizdat Award on Kirk’s behalf and sat for a panel discussion with honorees Alan Dershowitz and Graham Linehan, moderated by RCP’s Carl Cannon and Tom Bevan. The Samizdat Prize is an annual award honoring courageous journalists and public figures who did not flinch when censorship threatened. Samizdat – self-publishing in Russian – was the Soviet-era underground publication network. Past prize winners include Matt Taibbi, Miranda Devine, Jay Bhattacharya, Abigail Schrier, Jonathan Turley, and Linda Yaccarino.
