Biden responded: “I’m well-meaning and I’m an elderly man and I know what the hell I’m doing. I’ve been president and I put this country back on its feet. I don’t need his recommendation-” “Can you continue as president?” Doocy asked. “My memory is so bad I let you speak,” Biden responded.

JESSE WATTERS, FOX NEWS HOST: Remember, Biden lashed out at the press when this report came out, including Peter Doocy, who joins me now from all the way across the world. That press conference, that was a, whew, I remember that well. You do too. PETER DOOCY, FOX NEWS WHITE HOUSE CORRESPONDENT: Yeah, and I don’t want to say that this vindicates the question that I asked, but it kind of does, because all that I did was ask President Biden, and I’m just hearing a little bit of a mixed-minus problem in the control room, if you guys could fix that. But I asked President Biden about this, Robert Hur recommendation, not to prosecute him for mishandling classified information, because he thought, after sitting for that interview, that any jury would just come to the conclusion that Joe Biden would not be convicted. He was a well-intentioned elderly man with a poor memory. And even in big moments, big addresses throughout his presidency, a big part of the reason that he had to drop out and cede to Kamala Harris is because it sounded like, on camera, he was talking in slow motion. If you slowed that down 10 times, that is what you get with this audio. We know that it was on a busy day. He sat with Robert Hur in the map room at the White House as the October 7th attacks were unfolding. But it really makes everybody, once you hear this audio, it makes everybody that was saying, well, Joe Biden is OK in private, look really, really bad. We all saw what we saw on camera, in public. But this is a recorded, and they knew that they were being recorded, but it just sounds like a guy who really needed a coffee. But it’s unclear that that would have helped him remember where it is that he kept the important information. And they’re asking him, it’s not like they’re asking him about some hotel he stayed at in 2017. They’re asking him, hey, in your house, where did you keep the important documents, Jesse? You didn’t know.
