Fetterman: I Knew When Kamala Harris Called Trump A Fascist, We Lost The Plot At That Point

Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) explained why he doesn’t call President Trump and his supporters fascists:

JOHN FETTERMAN (D-PA): I do not know why and I have always refused to say that. When Vice President Harris referred to president Trump as a fascist and I knew absolutely we lost the plot at that point. If you call the president or somebody like a fascist you are effectively calling the people that are going to vote for them they must be fascist as well, excuse me they support fascism and those things and that is just not true that is not it. I happen to know and love a lot of people that voted for the president and they are not fascist, they are not Nazis, trying to destroy the Constitution all those things, they just have different priorities and they love our country in the same ways that Democrats do as well. So I refused to do those kinds of things because that kind of extreme kind of rhetoric makes it easier for those kinds of extreme kinds of actions even like what happened with Charlie Kirk. And that why you can’t allow people to grieve and use that an opportunity to criticize an alternative to something. That is just basic humanity there. And we are forgetting we are forgetting that we all we need each other we need each other here. And I refused to be a part of. And comparing people to Hitler on those things. Because that is that is if that is what is required to win then I refuse.
