FOX News: Rubio Rules Out Running In 2028 If Vance Wants Nomination

FOX News host Charlie Hurt highlighted a quote from part two of last week’s explosive ‘Vanity Fair’ profile of the White House staff where Secretary of State Marco Rubio said he would support JD Vance for president in 2028, if the vice president chooses to run. “If JD Vance runs for president, he’s going to be our nominee, and I’ll be one of the first people to support him,” Rubio told Vanity Fair in an interview published Tuesday. Rubio, 54, and Vance, 41, are among the top contenders for the Republican nomination. “I’m not sure anybody would run against those two. If they formed a group, it would be unstoppable,” according to the president. Rubio is “deferring to the younger, less experienced Vance, putting America First ahead of his own personal ambitions,” FNC’s Charlie Hurt reported. “Very rarely do you see in Washington politics somebody who does something like this.”
