HALPERIN: Loser of the week is those who said that Donald Trump and JD Vance were destroying, losers, were destroying the relationship between the United States and Europe. We saw on vivid display on Monday a close relationship. We saw the furtherance of the trade deal. Whatever happens with Putin, I think we see a united Europe and United States. It’s not perfect and behind their back, they snicker at the President of the United States, but they are united in their goals and in most of their methods. That is a far, far distance from what the critics said was going to happen between the United States and Europe during Trump 2.0.
