SEAN HANNITY, FOX NEWS HOST: But that’s what I think Lindsey was talking about when he talked about security guarantees and it came up all day, Article 5-like provisions that, that alliances that Ukraine can go into with other countries and of course buy weapons from the U.S. and build up their arsenal to create a deterrent. Hugh Hewitt, I would prefer, especially in the first meeting, Donald Trump to be in the room. Do you agree with me or you agree with Ari? HUGH HEWITT: I agree with you, and I’ll tell you why. If not President Trump, then Secretary Rubio, because I do believe the ill will between President Zelensky and Putin is so immense. A million casualties in this war, more than a million, Sean. And in three and a half years, as Prime Minister Maloney said in the clip that you played earlier, nothing has happened because the Oval Office was effectively empty for three and a half years. And something Senator Graham said, a strong president brings peace, a weak president brings a second invasion, as Ari mentioned, two invasions under two weak presidents. So I would rather have the strong president on site. But I’d even take what you suggested, Senator Graham or Secretary Rubio, just someone to make sure that it doesn’t go south in a hurry, because it could go south in a hurry when they get there. I did note in a wire report a little bit earlier, the Secretary General of NATO has said that Putin has agreed to meet with Zelensky. So that’s another step forward. Again, I’m so impressed with what the president has pulled off in 72 hours. You have to be suffering from TDS not to nod in acknowledgement towards what the president has accomplished.
