ICE Detained 475 At Georgia Hyundai Plant In “Largest Single-Site Enforcement Operation In History”
The DOJ, working with DHS and ICE, arrested 475 people at a Hyundai plant in Georgia in what they’re calling the “largest single-site enforcement operation in the history of Homeland Security Investigations.” Steven Schrank from Homeland Security Investigations said at a news briefing Friday that the majority of those detained were from South Korea, and were working for a “network of subcontractors” at the facility that has been manufacturing electric cars and batteries for about a year.
