FOX News host Laura Ingraham on Tuesday said Democrats believe the representative system is broken because President Donald Trump was able to win the presidency twice. “I actually think they believe that the representative democracy that our framers designed doesn’t work anymore,” Ingraham said to Sen. Eric Schmitt (R-MO). “I actually think they want to bust open the whole thing. Because if Donald Trump could get elected not once but twice under our representative system, it must be broken. I actually believe they would, if they could, they had their druthers, they would set up like some type of technocracy as we see in in Europe.”
