Josh Holmes: Brennan Did More To Undermine The Credibility Of Our Intelligence Agencies Than Anyone
“Ruthless” podcast co-host Josh Holmes, on Tuesday’s “Special Report,” reacted to President Donald Trump’s accusation that former President Barack Obama committed treason.
JOSH HOLMES, RUTHLESS PODCAST: Yeah, look, I think this is a scandal that absolutely demands some accountability. I don’t know if it’s criminal or historical, as Guy was talking about it, but certainly deserves a little bit of sunlight here. The facts of this are just not in question at this point. I think John Brennan is probably the most nakedly political CIA director in the history of this agency, and he was interacting with the Clinton campaign. Of course, he was a part of the Obama administration. We know there was conversations back and forth, and we knew that he knew that the Clinton campaign was actually trying to put this into the discussion in the waning weeks of 2016. It never stopped, and it infiltrated the first four years of the Trump administration and did more to undermine the credibility of our intelligence agencies and law enforcement than anything I can think of. So I’m happy all this is coming out, and I hope that it goes further than it already has.
