Mediapedia: “America Is Divided On Who To Blame For Tragedy In Minnesota, But Mainstream Media Mostly Is Not
Christine Czernejewski, the president and CEO of MediaPedia, offered this commentary on the media’s coverage of the ICE shooting of Renee Good last week in Minneapolis. “Don’t believe your lyin’ eyes,” she said. “The leading media outlets will tell you what you saw in Minnesota. And that’s just on what happened on the Minneapolis street between activist Renee Good and ICE agents.” “Who Good was is the other media illusionist trick.” “According to the Washington Post, CNN, NPR, and many others, Good was simply a mother, poet, and good neighbor. What’s largely left out is that she’s also a member of the activist group ICE Watch, a coalition dedicated to disrupting ICE raids. Anti-ICE activists like her have carried out at least 100 attacks on officers in recent weeks alone. Assaults on ICE officers are up 13%, death threats are up 8,000%, according to ICE.” “America is divided on who to blame for the tragedy in Minnesota, but the mainstream media mostly is not,” she said.
