Ned Ryun: Trump Cleaning Up Blue Cities Will Result In Political Consequences For Democrats

American Majority’s Ned Ryun on “Jesse Watters Primetime” explained why the American left is opposed to President Donald Trump cleaning up American cities.

JESSE WATTERS, FOX NEWS: Ned Ryun is the founder of American Majority. Wow, so, first, Portland does not look the way Jimmy Kimmel has described it. NED RYUN, AMERICAN MAJORITY: Wait, are you saying Jimmy Kimmel might be lying? He’s not telling us the truth, Jesse? I’m shocked. I’m stunned. Knocked me over with a feather. Now, the interesting thing is about these cities that are really resisting Trump. If you think about, you know, D.C., San Francisco, Portland, Chicago, well, first of all, they haven’t had a Republican mayor in generations. I think Portland last had a Republican mayor 65 years ago. I think Chicago has been almost 100. And, really, this is what the radical progressives running these cities, this is what they want. They want the chaos, they want the death, they want the destruction, because it allows them to consolidate power. These are power bases for them, Jesse. And I think what you’re really seeing right now is a power struggle over, like that last person commented, the power bases for Democrats in these various states are the urban bases, and they really are single-party mini-states. If somehow Trump comes in and ruins their business model of keeping crime and illiteracy and illegal immigration, all these things, he breaks their business model, which undermines their political power. And then, all of a sudden, it becomes a different, completely different game. I mean, think about Pennsylvania. If Democrats lose Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania goes red every time. And in Illinois, if it weren’t for Chicago and Cook County, which is basically Chicago, Illinois is a very red state. So the visceral reaction you’re seeing to Trump trying to bring law and order and peace and security to these urban areas, it’s all about power and political power. And Democrats realize this is a very real threat to their political future. WATTERS: So what you’re saying is that these Democrat politicians in these cities, they let things go to hell, and then they blame white supremacy, and they blame Republicans, and they blame Trump. Correct. And if Trump, the white guy, comes in and cleans up, then they can’t do that anymore, and their whole power structure’s shot. RYUN: Correct. And once they’ve gained power, they create these bureaucracies and these NGOs that really serve themselves and their allies and perpetuate their power. It’s like they’re never gonna solve crime or illiteracy or illegal immigration because they’re not really in pursuit of solving problems. They’re in pursuit of these perpetual problems that they can run money and allies into to then perpetuate their own power. And this is their business model. This is especially their business model in urban areas. And so when Trump, the problem solver, is going, hey, this doesn’t make sense. Like, we should have rule of law. We should have safety and security. This is a real problem for their business model moving forward. And when you see what’s happening in Memphis and these people realizing, oh, we could actually have a different life because of Trump, I think you’re gonna see political consequences because of that in these urban areas in which they go, hey, we could actually have a better life because Trump’s made our life better.
