Newsom: The Next Democratic President Will Get Rid Of Trump WH Ballroom, “God Forbid They Don’t”
Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) told ABC News White House correspondent Jonathan Karl that he believes the next Democratic president will get rid of President Donald Trump’s ballroom.
JONATHAN KARL, ABC NEWS: The changes at the White House, the demolition of the East Wing, all the gold in the Oval Office, all the, is all this going to, I mean, first of all, this is like a metaphor for how the stuff he is doing now is going to last, outlast him. Well, I mean, is the next Democratic president going to get rid of all that stuff? GOV. GAVIN NEWSOM (D-CA): Yeah, I think they will. I hope they will. I mean, God forbid they don’t. I mean, what a vulgar display of, let’s put this back up. That’s it. That’s what the ballroom is. That’s what the gold and gil. It’s a broken man. He’s insecure.
