Pollster Mark Mitchell: The Propaganda And Information Gatekeeping Is Becoming Less Profitable For Disney
Rasmussen pollster Mark Mitchell analyzed ABC/Disney’s decision to drop Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night show on Stephen Bannon’s “War Room” podcast.
MARK MITCHELL, RASMUSSEN REPORTS: This is the problem we find ourselves in because I wasn’t sure if they were going to keep lying. They are businesses. You were talking about that. They lose a significant amount of money. Look at the propagandists at 538 and how much money that the New York Times and Disney threw into that black hole of propaganda and information gatekeeping. And they finally just shut it down. They didn’t fix it. And I thought, well, maybe after this, MSNBC is finally going to have to change and tell the truth. Maybe all these people in the networks are not going to do it. For some reason, we don’t know they can’t. They’re just, they can’t. So they’re going to die. We’re watching them die. All these hosts are getting fired. They’re rebranding these websites. The ratings are plunging right now. The last time I looked, multiple times, combined CNN and Fox News or combined CNN and MSNBC prime time viewership in the demo was less than half of Fox News combined. And now we’re hearing talk about, well, maybe some of these networks will be taken over and turned into conservative leaning things. So they’re all dying. But the problem is, is that the Internet stole a march on America. And that’s the problem. It’s that there’s really a political battle between the right and the left and their lies. And the right is winning right now, as anybody who goes to Twitter can see. The predominant narrative now has completely been replaced by common sense, like pro-MAGA agenda type things. Like, no, we can’t have mentally deranged people getting surgically altered as minors on the taxpayer dollar. No, we shouldn’t have like violent narco-terrorists flooding across our border. And that’s good.
