MS-NOW’s “Morning Joe” Scarborough evaluated the Turning Point USA “AmericaFest” summit this weekend, where Israel and antisemitism were top subjects of conversation in remarks from Ben Shapiro, Tucker Carlson, Steve Bannon, Megyn Kelly, and more conservative influencers.

JONATHAN LEMIRE, MS-NOW: The larger point is there’s a real schism emerging on the right. There were some really ugly scenes here and some really harsh rhetoric from some big names in the movement, now on very opposite sides. JOE SCARBOROUGH, MS-NOW: Here’s the deal. If you’re a Jew at Turning Point, right, watch out. If you’re Ben Shapiro – a guy who got pummeled with more antisemitic trash during the 2016 campaign and beyond – if you’re Ben Shapiro or Mark Levin, man, you have just been totally savaged by the so-called conservatives in this crowd. There’s nothing conservative about them at all. They’re radicals. They’re not even close to being conservative. But you’re getting absolutely trashed. They’re at Turning Point, but, you know, I guess Jews shouldn’t apply. I don’t know. I guess there’s a problem when you have a guy who’s openly antisemitic attacking Jews, and he gets crushed for that. JONATHAN LEMIRE, MS-NOW: And embraced by Tucker Carlson and other big names on the right. I mean, Nick Fuentes is not only someone who often deals in antisemitic tropes – he’s an avowed white supremacist. And yet these are people who are being embraced, welcomed into the fold here in the Republican Party.
