Stephen Miller: Every Blue State Has Refused To Share Their Voter Rolls So We Can Remove Non-Citizens
White House deputy chief of staff and Homeland Security advisor Stephen Miller discusses Democrats’ opposition to voter ID laws amid Senate debate over the SAVE America Act on FNC’s “Hannity.”
SEAN HANNITY, FOX NEWS: All right, let’s head back to Washington and the swamp where Democrats are now fighting to block voter ID, proof of citizenship, while admitting at the same time that some illegal immigrants actually do vote in our elections. Anyway, take a look at this. (BEGIN VIDEO CLIP) SEN. CHUCK SCHUMER (D-NY): The core of the bill is handing the voter roles over to DHS, putting them through an algorithm designed by MOGE (ph) and Musk that knocks — supposedly knocks out illegal immigrants from voting. But very — the evidence is almost no illegal immigrants vote. SEN. RAPHAEL WARNOCK (D-GA): Eight-point-two million people registered to vote in Georgia. The Republican secretary of state found 20 instances of non-citizens who were registered and only nine had ever attempted to vote. (END VIDEO CLIP) HANNITY: All right. Here to respond, deputy chief of staff and homeland security adviser, Stephen Miller. I mean, by the way, do you know what MOGE is? I have no idea what the hell he’s talking about. What is MOGE and Musk? I can’t explain MOGE and Musk. Can you explain that? STEPHEN MILLER, DEPUTY CHIEF OF STAFF AND HOMELAND SECURITY ADVISER: He’s – – he’s lost a few steps, Sean. HANNITY: No, he did. By the way, your wife gave me a rough interview. I’m just saying for the record on our podcast. (LAUGHTER) HANNITY: But let me — let me just get to the heart of this. This is not complicated. This is an 85-15 issue. Seventy-one percent of Democrats believe proof of citizenship, voter ID, so we can have election integrity and confidence and results. They don’t want it. Why? MILLER: Well, we know why they don’t want it, Sean, is because they want to cheat. That is the bottom of this whole entire thing. When you have overwhelming supermajorities of all races, all political parties, all ages, all demographics, all political ideologies of the voting public who want voter ID, who want proof of citizenship, but you have the elected Democrat Party, the Democrat officials in the House, in the Senate, at the state level fighting with every ounce of strength they have to block voter ID, to block proof of citizenship, there is one and only one reason, and that is to enable cheating. Here’s something, Sean, that your audience may not know. At the beginning of this administration, we asked every state, red and blue, to share with us their voter rolls so that we could scrub it against the DHS file of illegal aliens to remove illegal aliens from their voting roles. Every blue state refused. California refused. Minnesota refused. New York refused. In fact, they sued us to stop us from removing illegal aliens from the voter rolls. Removing non-citizens from the voter rolls. That’s not just the only thing. They don’t want to get dead people off the rolls. They don’t want to get felons off the rolls. They don’t want to get out of state voters off the roles. They don’t want to get double and triple voters out of the count because they want the fraud. This is the most important issue, Sean, because the Biden administration brought 20 million illegal aliens into this country and this is the way, the only way to keep them from participating in our sacred democratic process. HANNITY: Stephen Miller, appreciate you as always. Let’s hope, this is critical. This is important. You want integrity in the election process, you want confidence and results, this is how you get there.
