Tarlov: Netanyahu Taking Advantage Of Situation, He Knows Trump Will Back Him Up
Jessica Tarlov talked about the risks of U.S. involvement in the Israeli-Iranian war:
JESSICA TARLOV: I think that if this is packaged as we are going to take out their nuclear weapons but we are not trying to take over their country and not going to get engaged in decades long wars that we have no business being in, people remember what that was like and they don’t enjoy it. It’s also interesting to me Senator Mark Warner the reigning Democrat on the Intel committee was echoing what Tulsi Gabbard testified back in March where she essentially said around is not on the precipice of having the weapon… I don’t think Mark Warner had any reason to back up Tulsi Gabbard for fun. He didn’t vote for her, doesn’t think that highly of her. I believe that given that Benjamin Netanyahu is taking advantage of the situation and he knows that Trump is going to back him up and trump believes the Israelis have earned this, I’ll use the point I was supposed to make two days ago. He has faith in the Israelis to be doing what’s in the best interest of the region, you’ll have a real issue if it turns into a redux putting aside the topography of Iran and what we’ve seen before. You’re not going to have an American appetite for it.
