Towery on RFK Hearing: Democrats Made It Very Clear In That Room That This Is All About The Money
InsiderAdvantage pollster Matt Towery reacts to Thursday’s Senate hearing with Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
SEAN HANNITY, FOX NEWS: Anyway, according to a new Insider Advantage poll, the American people on are on RFK’s side. They’re on MAHA’s side. According to the survey, 52 percent of Americans, they approve the job that RFK is doing. Only 33 percent disapprove. And on the question of MAHA’s goals, 53 percent of respondents said the goals and efforts, you know, literally are higher and more effective than in the past. Anyway, here’s Matt Towery, Insider Advantage. I would say great numbers, you know, especially approval versus disapproval rating for RFK, Jr. MATT TOWERY, POLLSTER: Yeah, the reason you saw all this vitriol today from the Democrats, there’s a good reason. I want to add some other numbers to this, Sean. That same poll found that 73 percent agree with MAHA’s effort to eliminate dyes from foods, artificial dyes. Seventy percent support RFK and Senator Marshall’s effort to have soil regeneration make soil safe again for agriculture. And that 73 percent like the president, RFK’s reinstatement of the president’s physical fitness test. Now, if all of that is so popular, then you ask why are they so concerned? Let me give you a few other numbers on vaccine safety. Fifty-seven percent say vaccines are safe in this country. The rest aren’t sure, or they believe they’re not unsafe. They’re — they’re not safe. COVID vaccines, 54 percent think they’re safe, but the rest either think they’re unsafe or not sure. Now, you’re going to try to get people to take a vaccine where you have barely a majority of this country believing it’s safe. President Trump said, give us the information so we can finally show people these vaccines are safe. They haven’t done it yet and that’s the reason there’s so much confusion and why Robert Kennedy is on point at this moment in what he’s saying, and it’s why the Democrats are so very concerned. HANNITY: Do you think the Democrats hurt themselves today? TOWERY: Well, I don’t think a lot of people watch Senate hearings. So, I think among the people who watch news and Senate hearings, I think it was a 50/50. Robert Kennedy, I could watch that man all day long. He does a magnificent job. I think the Democrats made it very clear in that room that this is about the money. This is all about the money. Let’s face it. And there’s a lot of money floating around on Capitol Hill. There’s a lot of money floating around in campaigns. Comes from a lot of different sides in healthcare. But you saw endlessly the quotes came from groups like the American Academy of Pe — for Pediatric — a pediat — Pediatrics — Pediatricians. Those groups do lean left and a lot of the other groups who were quoted today do lean left. HANNITY: Yeah. TOWERY: So the quotes of facts you got from the Democrats, they weren’t facts. They were just quoting other groups that agree with them. But I do think the Democrats didn’t do any harm to Robert Kennedy. I think he’s still a big plus for the Trump administration and I think he’s moving forward. HANNITY: Matt Towery, we appreciate it as always. Thank you.
