President Donald Trump abruptly resulted out of a ⁠”Meet the Press” interview on June 7, 2026, after NBC’s ⁠Kristen Welker challenged his claims of election fraud in California and pressed him on giving money to January 6 riot participants in a tense exchange regarding the “weaponization” fund for his supporters who believe they were unfairly politically prosecuted. “You’re either crooked or you’re stupid, Trump told Welker when she listed news outlets who dispute his claim. “They’re crooked just like you’re crooked, your press is crooked. And ‘Meet the Press’ is crooked.” To be fair, I’m not crooked, Welker replied. But let’s continue.
