President Trump will hold a press conference Monday morning with Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to announce an executive order to cap prescription drug and pharmaceutical prices at the lowest cost offered in any other country. He announced a plan to “institute a most-favored nation’s policy whereby the U.S. will pay the same price as the nation that pays the lowest price anywhere in the world.” He called the executive order one of the most consequential Executive Orders in our Country’s history. “Prescription Drug and Pharmaceutical prices will be REDUCED, almost immediately, by 30% to 80%. They will rise throughout the World in order to equalize,” Trump also said.
