Trump is going to host the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan at the White House on Friday, where officials are saying the president will negotiate peace talks between the two warring former Soviet republics. He’s expected to meet with the two leaders separately (below) before putting them together (above). Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan represent countries that have fought two wars since the 1990s, most recently in 2020, over the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh region.
