Watch: Spiked “60 Minutes” Report On El Salvador’s CECOT Prison Surfaces Online
A “60 Minutes” episode investigating the controversial CECOT prison in El Salvador, which CBS News editor-in-chief Bari Weiss reportedly delayed from airing on Sunday, appeared online on Monday after being published by a Canadian TV channel that syndicates “60 Minutes.” CBS reporter Sharyn Alfonsi publicly stated the report was delayed for political reasons, and suggested the delay risks setting a precedent that the Trump administration has the power to delay any report they don’t comment on.
