Watch: UAE F-16 Seen Engaging Iranian Shahed-136 Drone At The Beach Near Dubai Airport
An F-16 pilot from the United Arab Emirates appears to have been filmed on Monday engaging an Iranian Shahed-136 drone at Al Mamzar Beach, “known for water sports and picnic areas with BBQs,” near Dubai International Airport. This rare civilian video of an F-16 in action was one of 117 drones and 16 missiles intercepted that day, according to the UAE Ministry of Defence statements. Iran spends about $ 25,000 to produce and launch this remote-controlled plane, while the missiles fired by an F-16 cost more than $ 700,000.
