TOM BEVAN: I think the problem for Leslie [Marshall] and the Democrats right now is that, you know, there’s a CBS News poll that came out over the weekend that 58%, 6 in 10 Democrats, have a favorable view of socialism. And if you take Democrats who have a college degree or more, meaning a master’s or a Ph.D., it goes up to 71%. And there have been victories, and we’ve seen this play out. Initially, it was like, well, it’s just New York City. Oh, it’s just these urban districts, these deep blue districts. Then it’s Colorado. Then it’s Michigan, almost Wisconsin. So this is a problem for the Democrats, and it is complicating. I agree with Josh [Holmes]. It’s complicating the message. Obviously, Republicans are up against, they’re up against history. They’re up against inflation. They’re up against a war on Iran. They’ve got a lot of headwinds in this election, but Democrats are managing to keep it competitive.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
