These are real red states.&#8221;   &#8220;Texas hasn&#8217;t voted for a Democrat for the Senate since 1988. Alaska-good luck, Dan Sullivan is still a pretty popular senator.&#8221;  &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearpolling.com\/polls\/senate\/special-election\/2026\/ohio\/husted-vs-brown\">Ohio<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearpolling.com\/latest-polls\/senate\">Iowa<\/a> are the two to watch,&#8221; Kraushaar said. &#8220;There&#8217;s been some polling in both those races. Sherrod Brown is down by a few points in Ohio. The Democrats are actually leading in Iowa. So they would have to run the table, including in these very red states that I think are going to be red enough for Republicans to win.&#8221;  &#8220;Clearly, the environment is horrible for the Republican Party and Trump, no doubt about it. And I think the House is a fait accompli for the Democrats to win back.
