NICK SHIRLEY, HOST: We’ve talked about Elon a lot in this episode, but I feel like the reason why is because he’s one of the most powerful people, the richest person in the world, who’s in the same fight. EDWARD CORISTINE aka ‘BIG BALLS,’ FORMER DOGE PROGRAMMER: It’s very rare, by the way, like you look at the rest of the billionaires list, they like, they just don’t care. It’s pretty crazy. SHIRLEY: What’s the number one thing you’ve learned from Elon Musk? CORISTINE: Oh, there’s so many good things I’ve learned. There’s just, you know, being around him and working for him, you pick up on so many kind of nuanced things about how to manage things, how to build things. But if I was to distill it all into one point, it’s that you’ve got to be, you’ve got to do what you think is right. That’s, that’s the biggest thing about Elon. Like, Elon is the guy who’s willing to sit there and contradict everyone when he, when he is convinced that something is right. And I think it’s the number one takeaway from working with Elon. And the number one thing that you, I think you can’t take away from anyone is someone is in, like they’re, they’re just hardcore in pursuit of the truth. They’re trying to find the truth because the only way that we can go out and make these things better is to really, you know, be super hardcore about finding what the truth is first. So I think if I was to distill the Elon mindset into one thing, it would be truth-maxxing. Just like, just, you know, just really, really go try to find the truth about a specific topic and then go very deep into it. That’s the way that he works.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
