SHANNON BREAM, FOX NEWS: And Shelby, unfortunately, it gives rise an opening for those who are very skeptical. I mean, conspiracy theories and accusations about what’s going on. A lot of that stuff crops up if people don’t feel like there’s transparency to how this is all going down. SHELBY TALCOTT, SEMAFOR: Yeah, we’ve seen that over the years on both sides of the aisle. And, you know, what’s interesting with this, with California in particular, is I think now you’re seeing both sides also agree that there’s a problem in California, right? Gavin Newsom sent that letter the other day arguing that things need to change. You saw the president make allegations today or yesterday, earlier this week. And so both sides are recognizing that the way things are counted in California is not tenable and it needs to change. The question is, are the leaders in California going to be able to make those changes? Because, historically, we’ve seen that they haven’t been able to make those changes.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
