Francesca Hong is leading polls for the Democratic gubernatorial primary ahead of a debate tonight. She offers bold solutions, but I submit to you that there&#8217;s nothing sensible about them,&#8221; Carl Cannon said. &#8220;She favors legalizing marijuana so the government can raise more money, free broadband, a state-run Wisconsin bank, and a 32-hour workweek &#8212; but employers can&#8217;t cut your pay. What would happen is employers would let a bunch of people go.&#8221;  &#8220;Abolishing ICE, of course. Voting rights for felons and the eventual elimination of police and prisons. He says that could save someone up to $  90 per month.   <b>Watch: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.realclearpolitics.com\/video\/2026\/07\/27\/mamdani_city-run_grocery_stores_will_sell_produce_meat_cheese_bread_at_30_below_retail_prices.html\">Mamdani: Five City-Run Grocery Stores Will Sell Essentials At 30% Below Retail Price<\/a><\/b>  &#8220;We&#8217;ve got some news for New Workers who think the problem is bodegas charge too much for bread,&#8221; Walworth quipped. &#8220;The mayor is on it &#8212; he&#8217;s going to give you a 30% cut in prices at one of five government-run grocery stores.&#8221;  &#8220;What happens when people line up, come in, and buy out all of these core goods &#8211; eggs, milk, bread, whatever?&#8221; Tom Bevan asked. &#8220;The people who get there first get their discounted core goods, and everybody else gets nothing. There&#8217;s no 30% discount for them. If the warm embrace of collectivism means anything, they&#8217;ll eventually have to be doling out spots in line to people who are poor, or maybe somehow oppressed, or somewhere on the hierarchy. Maybe it&#8217;s LGBTQ.
