He suggests a few reforms that Democrats could pass in the interim, such as outlawing pharmacy benefit managers &#8212; third-party companies that act as middlemen between prescription drug manufacturers, insurance companies, and pharmacies.   &#8220;We can walk and chew gum at the same time,&#8221; he said. &#8220;We need to ban some of the middlemen in our healthcare system, like pharmacy benefit managers, something most people haven&#8217;t heard of, but they are a big reason why you pay more for prescription drugs.&#8221;  &#8220;I also think we can start enforcing antitrust policy when it comes to big healthcare,&#8221; he said. &#8220;Medicare-For-All is where we need to go.
