White House deputy chief of staff for policy Stephen Miller unpacks the DSA’s success in Democratic primaries on FNC’s ‘Hannity.’

STEPHEN MILLER: The American people are learning. In the polls, Democrats’ approval has never been lower, for the most part because President Trump exposed them for who they are. They are not liberal. They are not just left-wing. They are radical-left, crazy communists. They are opening government-run grocery stores to undercut mom-and-pop stores. They are talking about abolishing the prison and jail system in this country so that everybody lives at the mercy of the predators in the street. No borders, no ICE, no police, no law enforcement. Taxes through the roof, companies out of existence, regulate energy out of existence, grind the economy into dust. You would be lucky if you had a window, and that’s about it. HANNITY: You saw with Shannon Bream, with a DSA co-chair, every insane position no Democrat in the past ever would have uttered: Yeah, no prisons. No borders. No presidency. No Supreme Court. MILLER: Abolish the Senate. The Democratic Socialists of America are now either rising forth-they are the main [force] in the Democratic Party. It’s very important to point out- HANNITY: They are not socialists, by the way. They’re communists. MILLER: Exactly. They’re communists. They call themselves the Democratic Socialists. They believe in total state control of capital. This is a philosophy and ideology that starts with coercion, and it always ends in violent, repressive bloodshed. It’s not just a question of whether we disagree with them or have a different point of view. The very survival of freedom, liberty, humanity, your family, your children and your future depends on ensuring that we do not allow communism to take hold of America. President Trump has courageously and necessarily framed this upcoming election around keeping communists out of power. If they gain power, the American people will lose everything. HANNITY: I have said this in the past, but it’s never been this bad. Grandpa Bernie, AOC- AOC is now leading in a New Hampshire poll as the leading candidate for 2028. Does that make you happy? MILLER: It makes me happy. I’m fine with that. HANNITY: You have El-Sayed. The guy who replaced Graham Platner has chosen a replacement almost as nutty as he is. You have Talarico: God is not a binary. [LAUGHTER] MILLER: The Christian who hates Christianity. HANNITY: Then you have AOC, the Squad, Mamdani-and no Democrat but John Fetterman, and I give him props every night, would dare challenge the insanity that now dominates that party. They have 35 DSA candidates running this midterm. Thirty-five. MILLER: All the recent contested primaries in the Democratic Party have been won by socialists and communists. To your point about Fetterman, not a single leader in the Democratic Party has been willing to condemn the Democratic Socialists of America, who represent an ideology that, in the last century, killed tens of millions of people. You have prominent Democratic opinion-makers and spokespeople praising Mao. These are people- HANNITY: You don’t have that suit at home? [LAUGHTER] MILLER: Very popular in the Democratic Party. That underscores the names you mentioned: AOC, Bernie, the Squad, Omar. These are people who, even 10 or 15 years ago, were relegated to the outer, extreme fringes of the Democratic Party. They are now the center of the party, the heart of the party, the soul of the party. The Democrats have become a party of freaks, weirdos, losers and crazies. But you cannot laugh it off, because it is deadly serious. When you give these people power, everything you know and love in this world falls apart: chaos, corruption, decay, violence and poverty.
