On the “Politics War Room” podcast, James Carville said people are sick and tired of President Trump, and the president is sick and tired of the job. Carville added that he’s had enough and “he’s sick and tired of being sick and tired.”

JAMES CARVILLE: So I’ve said for a long time that Trump is just going to walk away. The situation with Trump and the American people is simply this. It’s an awful marriage. By the way, it’s a marriage that on paper has over two years left to go. He’s sick of the people and the people are sick of him. And you got to see that. You just got to wake up. We’ve been so traumatized by him so long that we hadn’t noticed that he’s dead. Politically, man is dead. He can’t win anybody a Republican primary anymore. And the craziest, most anti-Trump Democrat is going to win the primary because what Democrats think they’re looking for is to find the craziest anti-Trump person you can find. But I can assure you what you see is a divorce. And how do we stay and live in the same house for another two years? I don’t think we can. I think the country is f*cking done with this guy. I think the war is not just great foreign policy blunders at all times, it is a political blunder of the first order. And we can never forget that. The country lost the war. People are sick and tired of the president and he’s sick and tired of the job. So in the words of Fannie Lou Hamer, I’m sick and tired of being sick and tired.
