GB's Davis beaten by Shabliy at PFL San Diego
Britain's Alfie Davis was defeated by Alexander Shabliy via unanimous points decision in their PFL lightweight bout at the Pechanga Arena in San Diego on Saturday.
Davis was caught by a right at the end of the second round but, as Shabliy tried to follow up and finish the fight, was saved by the bell.
The 34-year-old wobbled back to his corner and, while he fought on in the whole of the third and final round, all three judges scored the fight 30-27 in favour of Shabliy.
The Russian improved his career record to 25 wins and four defeats, while Davis – who won the PFL's lightweight tournament in August 2025 – suffered a seventh defeat in 28 professional fights.
