Kudlow: Republicans Must Make Socialism, Communism, Anti-Semitism A Focus Of Their Campaign
FOX Business host Larry Kudlow reacts to President Donald Trump’s warning of creeping communism on Friday.
LARRY KUDLOW, FOX BUSINESS: Their agenda, the Democratic Socialist Party, they just published a new agenda, abolishing the United States Senate, packing the Supreme Court, defunding the military open borders, universal amnesty, national takeover of large corporations, of course heavy taxation on all manner of wealth and income, and free, free everything, including health care. So yeah, and of course that kind of thing has always failed, wherever it has been tried. But Sandra, I want to raise a very important point to me, and to New Yorkers in general, and that is the animating, uniting theme of Mandami and the Democratic Socialists is anti-Semitism and a hatred of Jewish people and the Israel state. They talk about it all the time, and that’s all they talk about. And they have this vision of Palestine taking over in the Middle East, pushing Israel out to the sea. And ironically, you know, Israel does a lot of business with the Arab communities in Palestine, so even that, their view is just perverted. They’re looking at something that doesn’t exist. But they don’t like Israel, they don’t like Jewish people, it’s their animating theme. I find this very troubling, I think this is corrosive, you know, it gets hate in the bloodstream, is a terrible thing. And I’m glad President Trump mentioned it. We had Harmeet Dhillon on last night, she’s now the Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights, and they’re going after this. They’re still going after DEI, which in some sense is the progenitor of anti-Semitism. But people have to speak out. I mean, hate is a bad thing regardless, but this attack on Jewish people is just awful. New York, as you know, is the biggest Jewish population outside of Israel. It’s almost unimaginable to me, but they’re winning with tiny margins, you see, that’s the thing, it’s not very representative. And the last point I’ll make is, hopefully, and we had James Blair on the show, you know, campaign manager, hopefully the Republicans will make this a big issue. I mean, it’s socialism, it’s communism, but it’s anti-Semitism, it’s hate, and that has to stop. You know, people of good faith must stomp on that and stop it.
